代数思维强调学习者对算式关系与结构的理解,是内部的;本体符号学方法(Onto-Semiotic Approach,简称OSA)通过融合认识论、符号学、社会本体论、建构主义理论等多领域方法,能够外部刻画学生的代数思维过程.基于OSA理论建构代数活动分析框架,分析98名六年级学生在不同类型代数任务中的代数思维表现,细化了小学阶段学生的代数思维水平等级,研究结果表明六年级学生依然习惯使用“算术思维”解决问题,“自然语言”对学生完成规律一般化表达有促进作用,“论证”任务具有提高学生数学化表达能力的作用,以上发现能够帮助教师更为精准分析学生代数思维发展特点,为教学实践提供参考.
